Position Summary

We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator who is eager to join our innovative, lively and expanding marketing team. This role is focused on digital and traditional marketing strategy and implementation including events, PR, PPC, SEO, marketing automation, user acquisition, content, analytics, and social media. This role is key in supporting our marketing and communications strategy.

Our ideal team member is creative, hard-working, and smart. We are looking for someone to help us grow our user base from the ground up - a natural who is excited about creating something awesome! He or she is self-motivated, able to take the initiative and is full of ideas. They will also have recent and successful experience working in a marketing environment.

This is a full-time, in-house position, based in our Vancouver office, with lots of room for growth. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of marketing and communications strategy

  • Creating and promoting social media campaigns across multiple platforms

  • Implementing user acquisition strategies including PPC, email campaigns, and more

  • Developing creative online strategies to attract students and tutors to the service

  • Building outreach campaigns to potential partners

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or media

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM and an understanding of web analytics

  • Proficient in popular social media platforms, as well as Hootsuite and WordPress

  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to multi-task

  • Efficient, energetic & self-motivated

  • Confident communicator with outstanding verbal & written skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Recent practical marketing experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS

  • Understanding of conversion optimization best practices

  • A genuine interest in education and technology
