In this dynamic, fast paced environment, reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Branch teams to link the planning of corporate marketing initiatives and promotions with successful in-field execution of those programs. The role will be instrumental in assisting field teams to qualify sales leads through the development of lead management campaigns and processes. The role will also be involved with guiding sales and branch teams to work with dealers on the planning for successful Home Show and Dealer Showroom events.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Management
  • Build out, manage and optimize end-to-end automated programs, including lead generation and product onboarding / adoption
  • Support business development team on new business opportunities related to marketing automation
  • Execute campaign activity plans including segmentation, list building, email management, and reporting
  • Collaborate with Branch teams to ensure leads are entered from Home and Tradeshows in a timely manner
  • Follow up with sales teams to ensure leads are promptly followed up with by dealers
Home Show & Event Management
  • Plan and execute the deployment of approved consumer & trade event programs
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to create and administer messages in a variety of formats to respond to all incoming and outgoing leads
  • Assess event programs both qualitatively and quantitatively against targeted objectives
  • Implement integrated PR, social, & digital media
Promotions/Flyer Program
  • Plan, execute, and maintain promotions throughout year
  • Communicate with internal teams and dealers to advise of promotions and projects
  • Liaise with creative teams to coordinate project activities including the development of promotional POP
  • Manage the sourcing and printing of promotional POP
  • Order & manage promotional clothing & merchandise inventory
  • Coordinate flyer print projects; actively look for opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
Project Management
  • Support marketing project development under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Assure the completion of assigned Marketing projects accurately, on budget and on time
  • Plan and support all head office and branch meetings including presentation design
  • Assure complete record keeping digitally & hard copy for all projects and programs
Customer Service /Teamwork
  • Maintain professionalism and act in a manner consistent with FPI mission and guiding principles
  • Follow all Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding
  • Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond to general inquiries with a customer service focus
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Advertising, copywriting, and media concepts preferred
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation Software & Lead Nurturing programs
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing Programs such as AdWords and Programmatic Advertising
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) in English, with a particular emphasis on copywriting and corporate communications
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office (especially Access, Excel and Word), CRM systems, and design programs (InDesign, Illustrator)

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • Certificate/Course-work in digital or online marketing an asset

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
  • Experience in working with international multi-level distribution systems (branch offices, dealers etc) specifically with Marketing Programs to consumers preferred
