Position Overview
BeneFACT is currently recruiting for a Manager – Marketing & Content Writer for our Mississauga head office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the strategic marketing direction of a growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Write articles and news releases for company website, blogs and partners
- Write responses to press inquiries
- Establish relationship with press and media partners to promote BeneFACT brand
- Organize industry events and trade shows including occasionally conducting speaking engagements
- Identify partner, sponsorship and advertising opportunities
- Maintaining company’s Twitter feed
- Maintaining LinkedIn corporate profiles
- Become an active member of the SR&ED community including commenting on LinkedIn groups
- Work with junior staff to facilitate quote process from various vendors for print and promotional items
- Analyze and present recommendations and business cases for print, promotional items and other marketing projects
- Other projects support sales and operations as assigned by CEO and Director – IT & Operations
Requirements
- Post secondary education in Marketing, English, Communications or Business with preference given to journalism or creative writing programs
- 5+ years of experience in content writing role in corporate marketing environment
- Experience with vendor negotiation and management
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong understanding of internet trends, new media and online marketing
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Self starter with passion to sell new ideas and implement strategies
