McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a creative and highly skilled individual to join our dynamic corporate marketing team as Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will use your exceptional communication, and administrative skills in a professional environment to coordinate trade shows and events, create advertisements and other marketing materials, and prepare proposals. This position will be ideally suited to someone who is self-motivated and has a passion for effective corporate communications.
Coordinating and evaluating participation for trade shows and other events
Organizing advertising with media partners and developing targeted ad copy;
Preparing qualifications, proposals, reports, presentations, and other business communications
Writing and editing both snappy and technical content for print and online publication
Sourcing and organizing information from discipline experts for award submissions
Creating and curating content for social media platforms
Updating marketing materials, including résumés, project sheets, discipline flyers, and brochures
Organizing and updating the marketing filing system, and client and survey databases
Assisting other team members with administrative tasks and duties as necessary
Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, publishing, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience working in a professional environment
Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Superior writing and editing skills – including experience in technical writing and editing for plain language is an asset
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal with changing priorities
Skills in using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) will be an asset
