As one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, Fresh Direct Produce is looking for a contract Marketing & Communications Specialist to work with our growing team.

The Marketing & Communications Specialist will closely collaborate with our Marketing, Buying & Sales, and Management teams to help us develop marketing plans to strategically promote and position our premier house brand in the Canadian marketplace.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop marketing strategies based on current strategic plans
• Help develop and lead our social media platforms
• Maintain marketing budget for all promotions and marketing products
• Work with Buying & Sales team in building relationships with key customers to achieve optimal corporate results

Qualifications include:

• Degree in marketing/Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing and/or community management
• Interest/experience in all Marketing aspects including digital, advertising, design, copywriting
• Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practicee
