Reporting to the Business Director – Marketing, Licensing & Partnerships, the Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for Dramaforum and Petra’s Planet, working closely with the Business Director – Marketing, Licensing & Partnerships. The successful candidate should be an accomplished digital marketer and a collaborator who can work with cross-functional and international teams. In addition, they should have demonstrated success in corporate and brand communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage, measure and evaluate web and in-game analytics to optimize campaign ads, landing pages, user onboarding, retention and monetization
- Create, balance and optimize Petra’s Planet’s economy model including oversight of shop optimization (pricing, positioning and promotions)
- Identify player personas and develop in-game events to drive engagement and monetization
- Collaborate with developers, art and community management
- Create and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to internal teams and management
- Lead the development and execution of social media strategy across relevant social media channels as well as the company website and blog
- Manage award entries, industry associations/memberships and sponsorships
- Co-ordinate company participation at key events, conferences and markets
- Develop corporate and brand presentation materials
- Ensure that all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and achieve goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Four+ years experience in marketing, preference for candidates with previous experience within gaming or children’s entertainment
- Experience in the development of brand and corporate presentations, writing copy for advertising and landing pages. Experience writing press releases is a plus
- Demonstrated success in the creation and execution of email and social campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, etc.)
- Interest in online and mobile gaming
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of SEM, SEO PPC and social marketing channels
- Understanding of micro-transaction models on online gaming KPIs
