Point Grey Research® Inc. is looking for a highly organized, self-motivated, and process-driven individual to fill the position of Marketing Communications Assistant in our growing and dynamic Marketing Team. We have ambitious goals for increasing brand awareness in key markets around the world to promote and facilitate sales.

General Duties and Tasks

• Coordinate and execute new product launch activities including translation of marketing materials, documentation, website updates, and industry web directories for North America and our Chinese subsidiary
• Execute online marketing campaigns such as banner ads
• Maintain contact database
• Coordinate the translation, distribution, and reporting of our Chinese eNewsletter and ad campaigns
• Assist with monthly reporting
• Assist with press relations and monitoring
• Support the Marketing team with other tasks as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or vocational certificate in Marketing or a writing related discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Administration
• Must be fluent in verbal and written English and Mandarin
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player who can also work independently
• Able to pro-actively follow defined processes
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail, eager to learn
• Sense of urgency with a positive “can do” attitude
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines
• Experienced and comfortable with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in a marketing role for the Chinese or Taiwanese market is an asset
