Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Campaign Manager is responsible for Product Marketing functions and lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic and execute tactical product marketing initiatives and report on the effectiveness
- Perform product training as required
- Conduct research and data analysis to support marketing initiatives, and stay current on industry technology advancements
- Work closely with Product Management to launch and position products in new and existing markets
- Drive technology awareness to support lead generation to specific targets
- Develop marketing materials including case studies and white papers
- Develop benefits-oriented and highly technical content for press releases, magazine articles, direct mail pieces, ads, and white papers
- Update product collateral including websites
- Conduct competitive and pricing analysis
- Manage SEO, web ranking and search advertising activities and campaigns
- Implement and manage lead nurturing and drip marketing campaigns
- Attend trade shows as required
- Contribute to product collateral creation
- Research, identify and implement strategies with regard to increasing efficiency of marketing initiatives and operations
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (fluency in a foreign language is an asset)
- Able to communicate with customers from all backgrounds
- Excellent statistical and analytical aptitude
- Able to work well in a team and as an individual
- Proven ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Proven art proficiency including layout, colour, and design knowledge
- Proven experience with Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems
- Proven experience in social media
- Quick to adapt to various situations and an “out-of-the-box” thinker
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in technology product marketing and/or campaign management
- Must have knowledge and experience with social media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced experience with Internet lead generation and email marketing campaigns is an asset
- Excellent time management and organizations skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to travel as required (must maintain a valid passport at all times)
- Degree in Science, arts or engineering discipline an asset
- Experience with MAC OSX and Adobe CS
