Marketing Associate Full-Time

Kin’s Farm Market is looking for an energetic individual to join our team for the Marketing Associate position. Kin's Farm Market is a retail chain of high quality produce stores with 29 locations in British Columbia. If you are enthusiastic, hard working and creative, we would like to speak with you.


The Marketing Associate performs advertising, marketing and public relations duties for the Kin’s Farm Market Group.


Reports to the Marketing Manager


o Executes marketing projects and campaigns

o Helps manage all weekly advertising and promotion

o Supervises the design and placement of weekly ads

o Arranges annual advertising schedule for weekly advertising promotion

o Ensures accuracy of information on website and all promotional materials

o Updates website information using Wordpress

o Plans and executes marketing events

o Conducts and analyzes market research/surveys, and works with marketing manager in addressing the research/survey findings

o Keeps track of budget and spending for the department and reports to marketing manger on regular basis regarding the status of the marketing fund

o Helps with design materials when needed (Photoshop and Illustrator skills are an asset)

o Takes responsibility for any marketing related work that is assigned by the marketing manager

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
  • Photoshop and Illustrator skills are an asset
  • Wordpress experience


This position requires:

o A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration

o At least 5 years work experience in any field, and at least 1 years in marketing or closely related field

o Experience in project or event management is an asset

o Excellent oral and written communication skills


o Marketing plans are effective and executed efficiently

o Directives are satisfactorily completed within specified time frames

o Priorities are well established

o Actions are aligned with company’s goals and direction

o Creative ideas are often generated

o Marketing programs/campaigns are planned and executed according to Action Plan

Five days a week, which includes weekends for events only
