Marketing Associate

KnowledgeNetwork Corporation is British Columbia’s viewer-supported public broadcaster, offering commercial-free documentaries, arts, culture, and children’s programs from around the world.

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to support our Associate Director of Marketing in promoting our many brands on all platforms – television, web, mobile, print and social. You will assist in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to connect and engage with audiences, subscribers and donors. Specifically, you will:

• Create and implement social media projects (campaigns, daily posts, etc.), tailored to capture specific audiences using various platforms

• Plan and coordinate successful events including documentary screenings, community outreach, and donor appreciation events

• Write and copyedit compelling marketing content, advertising, newsletter content and promotional materials

• Provide administrative and creative support

To be successful in this role, you must make the most of every opportunity to build on our brand. Along with a Marketing or Communications diploma and 2-3 years of relevant experience, you have exceptional communications and organizational skills and have used social media to engage an audience. You are proficient in all MS Office applications and are considered an event planning trailblazer.
