Reporting to the Community Relations Manager, the Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting with all marketing activities related to the community to maximize the number of prospects that become residents while increasing brand awareness. With the Community Relations Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sales, publicity and marketing activities that support the lease objective of the community. As the Marketing Assistant, you will book and conduct tours of the community with prospects, family and community influencers. You will perform prompt and appropriate follow–ups on all inquiries and visits and assist with completing traffic and marketing reports as required by Corporate Marketing.
Required qualifications include a degree/diploma from a Post–secondary marketing and public relations program, or equivalent experience in sales, developing and implementing marketing &sales plans, public relations campaigns and special events.; knowledge of and experience in the seniors' market, public or private health sector is an asset.
You are the right person for the role if you possess excellent interpersonal proficiency and superior oral, written and listening communication abilities. You demonstrate the ability to organize workload and set priorities accordingly and have the ability to work flexible hours is needed as some evening and weekend work will be required due to organizational needs.
