MARKETING ASSISTANT

Amica at West Vancouver, Vancouver, BC

(Full-Time;Shifts are Friday to Monday)

The Marketing Assistant, internally know as Community Relations Assistant, is responsible for assisting with all marketing activities related to the community to maximize the number of prospects that become residents. The Community Relations Assistant will book and conduct tours of the community with prospects, family and community influencers. You will perform prompt and appropriate follow-ups on all inquiries and visits and assist with completing traffic and marketing reports as required by Corporate Marketing.

Post-secondary education in marketing and/or public relations, real estate or related programs is preferred; knowledge of and experience in the seniors' market, public or private health sector is an asset. You will have experience in developing and implementing marketing plans, public and community relations campaigns and special events.

Critical skills to be successful in this position include excellent interpersonal proficiency and superior oral, written and listening communication abilities. You demonstrate the ability to organize workload and set priorities accordingly. Currently shifts available are Friday-Monday with total of 37.5 hours per week. However, because this position requires availability for special events, flexibility in work hours is a must.
