Marketing and Design Coordinator – Part Time (North Vancouver)

We are an Outdoor Products Wholesaler, marketing to the active outdoor lifestyle sector, both retailers (store and online) and end users. We are looking for a savvy marketing coordinator, comfortable in the outdoor world, to work with management team to create and implement a range of marketing initiatives.

You would work with Director of Sales to execute Brand Partner Campaigns, including initiating creative concepts through to participating in final events and measuring success. You will develop graphics to improve brand visibility in relevant markets.

On a daily basis, you will keep the company current in online portals and print media. You will help to keep our websites fresh with content such as product, blasts of interest, and event communication. Maintaining current social media accounts such as Facebook and creating new ones as required would be paramount. You will create a portfolio and build relationships with media opportunities across Canada and US in our industry and will assist in creating and managing press releases and media requests. Proven graphic design is a must-have for day to day work.

We will be looking for someone who has experience and training in marketing and design. You will have good experience with Search Engine Optimization and some experience with web design and development, certainly maintaining content. As well as basic design software, you will be able to navigate through Office Business software.

Being a motivated, self-starter, who is organized, outgoing, and detail oriented will be a requirement.

Pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and fit to our needs. Time is somewhat flexible and varies with seasonal requirements. On average, anticipate 20 hours weekly.
