In this dynamic, fast paced environment, the Marketing Administrator is responsible for working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide administrative support and marketing assistance with a customer service approach, promoting all FPI products for all locations in Canada, USA and Australia.
Duties and Responsibilities
Promotions
- Coordinate Point of Purchase materials
- Acquire estimates from printers and recommend printer suppliers
- Obtain approval and Issue POs to printers including detailed ship lists
- Respond to enquiries from branches and dealers regarding POP materials
Flyers
- Coordinate flyer layouts
- Deliver flyer proofs and following up for signed approvals
- Organize printing and shipping of flyers
- Coordinate package assembly, organizing assistance as required
Administration
- Generate claims lists for rebate cheques and enter rebate cheques into payables system
- Prepare and provide reports to management analyzing promotions results
- Respond to emails from consumers and dealers regarding promotions, claims and rebates
- Close out promotions when they expire
- Provide monthly Home Shows, Fairs and Events reports to sales managers and account executives
- Provide a monthly and annual package of Home Shows, Fairs and Events reports to Senior Marketing Manager and VP Sales & Marketing
- Respond to enquiries from stakeholders regarding homes shows, fairs and events
Home Shows, Fairs and Events
- Receive and log home shows, fairs and events registrations
- Set up and deliver leads management emails for home shows and fairs
- Set up and deliver email invitations for events
- Set up event promotions in promotions system and create and deliver rebate instructions
Customer Service and Teamwork
- Respond to general inquiries with a customer service focus
- Attend and participate in department and organization meetings
- Maintain professionalism and act in a manner consistent with FPI mission and guiding principles
- Follow all Health & Safety programs; actively participate in Health & Safety training with the purpose of gaining knowledge and understanding
- Contribute to a positive work environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Other related duties and projects as assigned
Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) in English
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of programs, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Adobe InDesign an asset
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Bilingual (French/English) an asset
Education/Training
- Working toward or completed a Marketing diploma or degree
Experience
- Previous experience working in Marketing or Administration desirable
