Position Overview:

Our Unified Workflow Solutions group provides software solutions for the printing industry.  This group has aggressive growth plans and we are looking for an energetic Market Analyst with a passion for research to help define the product roadmap and future strategy for this business.

Opportunity Overview:

This is a newly created position.  You will have the opportunity to not only shape research methodology, but to play a very key role in shaping the business and influencing the executive leadership team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify new market opportunities and offer insights about product potentials
  • Complete concept-testing for new products
  • Perform extensive market research
  • Evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets
  • Determine brand perceptions and reputations
  • Evaluate market penetration
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships
  • Examine a campaign's return on investment
  • Identify positive financial outcomes to increase profitability
  • Create databases and capture market data
  • Analyze competitors and assess client's promotional needs
  • Generate reports that analyze competition and customers
  • Develop sales strategies in tandem with marketing and Sales departments
  • Meet with clients to ascertain marketing goals
  • Develop groups and solicit customer feedback
  • Conduct secondary research, including finding information from industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts
  • Create questionnaires and surveys
  • Be familiar with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Marketing, or Business
  • 7 – 10 years experience in similar role
  • Strong statistical analysis abilities, including multivariate analysis, multiple regression, and correlation
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively at all organizational levels
  • Strong capabilities with Office365, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Level within Functional Area: 7-10 Years
Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree
