Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Web and Digital Marketing who thrives on new challenges; an energetic, creative self-starter with an exceptional ability to lead, build relationships and collaborate on website, digital and social media marketing projects. This is a full time permanent position.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing and Recruitment, the Manager, Web and Digital Marketing is responsible for implementing a series of comprehensive marketing plans through Website, Digital, Videography, Photography and Social Media. This position is responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and enhancement of KPU’s visibility, branding, positioning, recruitment and enrollment programs and services, as well as advertising and promotions programs through online, digital and social media.
The experienced Manager, will supervise staff members within the KPU Marketing Services department who perform website, digital signage, videography, photography and social media activities and other related functions. These initiatives will enable the University to optimize student recruitment and retention, promote KPU’s departments, events and programs as well as increase the level of the University’s brand awareness internally and externally.
The incumbent must have a demonstrated proficiency and proven experience in web design, development and architecture, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Webmaster Tools and SEO. Experience with project management in developing comprehensive websites and proven Drupal experience is a must. Strong knowledge of content management systems, website design software and programming languages is important. Experience managing digital and social media advertising mediums, incorporating videography and photography in marketing campaigns is required. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing successful branding and advertising, campaigns through web, digital and social media environments is required.
Proven ability to plan and schedule resources and manage staff in a busy environment is required as is an eye for detail. Experience with branding is an asset, as is working knowledge with graphic design, photography and videography software.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Web Design, Digital/Internet Marketing or a related field and 3-5 years directly related experience in a management role or an equivalent of education and experience.
