Manager, Social Media & Digital Marketing Full-Time

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Imaging Products this vital role located in the Canadian head office in Mississauga is responsible for managing Social Media channels and planning & executing Digital Marketing programs for Digital Cameras, Instax Instant Cameras and our Personalized Print products. The successful candidate has both started and managed Social Media communities like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You know how to find and create appropriate engaging content and leverage it across all social media platforms.  You understand best practices including corporate responsibility when it comes to building an engaging Social Media community. You’re an expert at Facebook, Instagram and Twitter advertising, setting up Custom Audiences and testing various Ad Types. You’ve planned, authored and designed Behaviourial Retargeting Ad campaigns either through 3rd party services or Facebook. You know how to work with limited budgets, set-up tests and continue to innovate to get the best results. You will be a back-up to the Web Manager, FUJIFILM USA and help manage changes and updates to and other applicable websites using CMS systems and HTML. You feel comfortable with Google Analytics and creating regular reports identifying learnings or issues to Senior Management. Ideally, you’ve created and managed Search Engine Marketing Campaigns to maximize exposure, and clicks while minimizing costs and bounce rates. You know what makes a successful email campaign and can work with the department’s internal Graphic Designer and Brand Managers to program developed creative into regular and targeted email newsletters and eblasts with your knowledge of HTML. You thrive in a small, fast-paced team environment where you can humbly lead FUJIFILM to the next level in the Digital space.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and improve engagement rate for fan base on existing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram communities by answering questions, re-posting/ creating/ writing/ sourcing engaging content, and running contests and other best practices;
  • Identify, leverage and share Social Media best practices for managing and growing Canadian fan base on Social Media communities and keep up to date on new techniques;
  • Create, author, design and set-up Digital Advertising Programs (including Behaviourial Retargeting) on Social Media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and others using best practices;
  • Plan, create, write, source images and program (HTML) all email blasts including updating lists and launching email programs via YesMail Email Platform;
  • Assist Web Manager FUSA to help launch product pages, add/ change/ improve content  on the to ensure maximum SEO and consumer experience;
  • Assist Personalized Print Products business by Consulting  with their Clients on best practice Social Media Strategies, Website Design and Email Marketing and other projects;
  • Use Hootsuite to schedule/share all social media posts and conduct regular Listening on select Brands;
  • Investigate and launch other Social Media platforms such as Google +, Pinterest or others;
  • Manage and ideally create impactful Search Engine Marketing campaigns including selecting keywords, creating ads and optimizing ad performance;
  • Create regular Campaign and web reports using Google Analytics, Hootsuite and other programs showing metrics, results and learnings;
  • Using appropriate social media voice for Digital Camera and Instax social media properties;
  • Create an Annual Social Media & Digital Marketing Plan;
  • Manage Social & Digital Advertising Budgets;
  • Work co-operatively with other members of the team, senior management and external suppliers.

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 Years Minimum Experience in a similar Social Media and Digital Marketing Management role;
  • Degree or College Diploma in Marketing, PR or Communications with emphasis on Digital or Social Media Marketing;
  • Ideally formal Social Media training/ certificate;
  • Expertise and previous experience in managing Social Media Communities and running Social Media Advertising;
  • Expertise and previous experience in developing effective Email Campaigns;
  • Working advanced knowledge of Hootsuite, YesMail or similar programs;
  • Working advanced knowledge of HTML, Google Analytics, CMS Systems and other web languages;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, In Design, Dreamweaver or other Adobe Creative Solutions;
  • Knowledge of implementing and managing operating metrics for Web performance, content gathering and timely publishing;
  • Experience managing junior staff and working with Graphic Designers and other Brand Managers;
  • Expertise and previous experience managing budgets;
  • Ability to analyze results and report findings;
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Previous experience working in a small, team environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves and chips in when needed;
  • Experience or interest in Photography an asset.
