We’re looking for outgoing, professional, driven individuals who want to become our Manager, Marketing at Elements Casino. In this position you will be responsible for implementing marketing promotions and strategies, communications and promotional events at the site level. You will also assist in executing social media plans and advertising campaigns to support the properties gaming and entertainment initiatives. You are someone who has the passion to inspire participation in Marketing initiatives; someone who can juggle multiple tasks in one hand while tracking metrics in the other; someone who is self–motivated and hoping to exceed all expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning, managing and implementing site marketing programs, including all of the details throughout a promotion, campaign or special event (e.g. staff incentives, prize packages, supplier commitments, advertising, direct mail, property décor, collateral placement, auditing, etc.);
  • Work with the Operations and the Elements Casino General Manager in drafting annual site marketing plans and budgets;
  • Developing strategies to leverage and maximize loyalty program(s), including Encore Rewards;
  • Managing advertising campaigns for the properties as directed;
  • Working within the sites brand standards and guidelines;
  • Oversees content and site level social media efforts to include casino promotions, food and beverage, entertainment;
  • Spearheading research driven initiatives to effectively inform marketing efforts, including situational and competitive analysis and consumer insights;
  • Monitoring and updating the site marketing/advertising budget; reporting variances on a monthly basis;
  • Working with and art directing the site Graphic Designer on all creative projects;
  • Coordinate with the GCGC Corporate Digital team on the Elements Casino web site, digital campaigns and email direct marketing;
  • Works with and assists other GCC sister sites with the project management of Marketing/Promotional initiatives;
  • Executing property level event programming and online promotion plans, including all associated collateral on and off site;
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments;
  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees, vendors and regulators;
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations;
  • Performing other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4 years of marketing experience; 2 years of gaming or hospitality experience preferred;
  • Post secondary education in marketing, tourism, hospitality, public relations, advertising or business management required;
  • Experience with guest- or consumer-centric organizations (e.g., hospitality, hotels, food & beverage, entertainment, tourism, gaming, agencies, retail, packaged goods);
  • Proven sales and marketing experience in hotel or food/beverage industry is a major asset;
  • Proven track record influencing peers and management;
  • Strong team player and collaborative (solicits input to improve/enhance strategy and development);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively;
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, advanced levels an asset specifically in ROI and analysis;
  • Organized and efficient with a strong work ethic;
  • The ability to maintain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB);
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
