Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will execute on marketing & sales campaigns to generate sales leads, increase engagement (service campaigns) and revenue for the HR Acquire and HR Engage sales teams.

Major Responsibilities

  • Document campaign plans.  Determine campaign approach, messaging and CTA (call to action).  Select the target and exclusion audience.  Submit proposed plan to Senior Leadership for review and approval.
  • Build campaigns using Pardot, including building marketing assets (emails and landing pages), creating copy, and building marketing automation.
  • Monitor campaign performance.  Review email delivery and open rates, click through rates, and landing page conversion rates.  Review and determine data accuracy.  Draw insights from data to inform future marketing strategy and collaborate with the team to implement improvements.  Summarize key information and results (including progress against targets) for internal stakeholders.  Prepare and deliver mid-campaign and final reports.
  • Follow up on campaign interest including routing leads and managing responses to direct reply through email and Salesforce.com.
  • Gather campaign requirements from the internal business in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Design (images and template layouts) and Sales Operations to ensure best practices are employed.
  • Provide input and constructive feedback for other campaigns to improve end product.
  • Manage and prioritize of daily tasks using Jira.
  • Other duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or HR
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant B2B marketing experience, including campaign management and execution
  • Experience with Social Media and paid advertisement
  • Background in or exposure to HR industry and/or experience marketing to HR professionals, an asset
  • Certification in Google Analytics
  • Pardot and/or Salesforce certification

Skills

  • Campaign Management: Demonstrated experience executing marketing campaigns, specifically, event, direct marketing & online; ability to perform campaign analysis & reporting.
  • Strategy Development: Ability to understand the needs of the team and work collaboratively and creatively with stakeholders to develop strategy to address those needs and achieve tangible results.
  • Marketing Automation: Experience working with marketing automation systems, ideally, Pardot & Salesforce.
  • Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple segments, moving parts, and different assets (i.e. different email versions) within various campaigns;  handle all stages within the process, prioritize tasks, and adjust priorities as necessary.
  • Copywriting: Background in content and material preparation for email, landing page, webpage, and collateral copy.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to gather campaign requirements and understand business needs; exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
