As the Manager, Advisor Marketing Communications, you will lead the planning and development of Individual Customer strategic marketing communications for Advisors to promote insurance and investment products and services to drive profitable business results. You will be the key Advisor leadership integration person within Customer experience and marketing and the connection point between the CX&M and the Advisory Network.

What will you do?

  • Manage the planning & development of Advisor marketing communications

  • Oversee, create and prepare marketing communications for strategic and ongoing advisor communications such as customer positioning information and product launches

  • Measure and optimize plan in an iterative manner based on results

  • Understand and balance end customer needs and insights with the needs of the distribution channels to provide compelling holistic communication recommendations, feedback and content

  • Represent the needs of advisors on an ongoing basis with marketing, and create optimal leverage of marketing tools for advisors

  • Develop tone and manner approach and ensure consistency and effectiveness across an omni-channel experience in partnership with Marketing and the Advisory Network

  • Develop and lead a high-performance advisor communications team that delivers value for the advisor and the organization

  • Foster and support a culture of excellence in communications, providing coaching and support to team members to inspire creativity and innovation

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or the equivalent

  • 8+ years experience in the financial services industry with extensive product and/or distribution knowledge
  • 5+ years as a Marketing Leader with specialized expertise in Communication
  • Strong curiosity and desire to make the complex clear and to always ask “why”

  • Exceptional relationship management and collaboration skills with colleagues, clients and third parties

  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment with proven ability to manage competing priorities in a highly organized manner

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Prioritize, focus and balance multiple priorities at all times. Can assess situations, make decisions, and get things done, with a high degree of agility and responsiveness
