Are you the innovative and strategic person who will be our new lead generation / inbound marketing guru / head of marketing / marketing manager?

In this role, you will lead a team of marketing specialists to further develop and perfect our marketing strategy and its execution. If you are excited about bringing our marketing efforts to the next level and if you have a solid B2B background with ample inbound marketing experience, you might just be the person we are looking for!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve, develop and execute key marketing strategies to drive inbound leads
  • Analyse marketing results and marketing channel performance on a continuous basis, create and present performance reports and develop and implement proper actions to improve performance
  • Manage, coach and develop a growing team of young marketing specialists (2 FTE at the moment)
  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies aimed towards generating brand awareness and inbound leads
  • Continuously improve our digital marketing channels and optimize them to drive high quality traffic and leads
  • Develop and manage social media strategies aimed towards creating brand awareness and preference by direct engagement with our target audience
  • Develop and manage SEO strategies and tactics to drive high quality traffic to our website
  • Develop and execute winning marketing campaigns
  • Manage and support content development for our website, blog, social media channels and third party platforms
  • Develop marketing collateral to support our direct sales efforts
  • Develop and manage conference and event marketing strategies
  • Initiate and organize company and community events
  • Develop, manage and execute annual and quarterly marketing budget plan

REQUIREMENTS
You have:

  • Proven experience with B2B hi-tech company
  • Proven technical skills related to inbound marketing. You do not need to be an SEO specialist, but strong technical marketing expertise is a must
  • Strong passion for marketing and express that passion by continuous learning and developing yourself
  • Enjoy working in a startup environment
  • Possess natural leadership skills
  • Ability to combine your strategic vision with a pragmatic and positive attitude
  • Creative, you like to challenge the status quo, you strive to adopt new technology and readily embrace change
  • Although managing a team, you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and “get it done” which might involve picking up projects yourself
  • Work well independently and love to figure out solutions by conducting exploratory research
  • Appreciate being challenged and good at dealing with high pressure situations
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and proactively offer solutions
  • Innovative and optimistic with a “nothing is impossible” attitude
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or relevant experience
  • Completed a university degree in marketing (or equivalent experience and/or education)
  • Solid computer / tech skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
