We are looking for a recent graduate Technical Writer, who wants to rise to the challenge to describe our products. If you are a strong team player with a customer-centric approach to product documentation, then this might be the opportunity for you!

You will work with our world class products, Qlik Sense, with the most talented people in software development, where innovation and knowledge sharing are as important as a healthy balance between your life at Qlik and your personal life.

As a Technical Writer in R&D, you will work with other writers to document our products, constructing thorough walkthroughs and tailoring technical information to different audiences. You will solicit and engage customer feedback on documentation, putting yourself in our customers’ shoes. You will initiate and drive process improvements, working as a team to turn them into reality.

This opportunity requires passion for clarity and an understanding of user flows.  As an individual, you have a strong sense of responsibility, take initiatives, and drive them to conclusion with good results to the benefit of the team. You are able to analyze problems and take systematical and rational decisions. You work independently and, most of all, you come to work with a smile on your face because you know you’re going to enjoy your tasks and your work environment.

Qualifications include:

• BS in English, technical communications, or a related discipline;
• Recently graduated to up to 1.5 years of experience;
• Skilled written and oral communication, with an ability to describe problems to others, to listen and involve others in discussions;
• Technical skills, with ability to use and learn a variety of tools and systems; and
• Knowledge of one or more current industry-standard authoring tools.
