Main Responsibilities

Resource Management

  • Meet goals and objectives of the organization on time and within budget
  • Manage Internet marketing budget, project schedule and team effectively
  • Work with staff to assess content needs and resource requirements
  • Communicate with stakeholders
  • Oversee Canadian Help desk

Program Management & Development

  • Manage web properties including content: direction, sourcing, supervision, scheduling & proofing
  • Ensure smooth work flows, approvals and quality assurance
  • Work with marketing partners to execute promotions
  • Manage social media: Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Flickr, Delicious, Forums
  • Collaborate with US Internet Marketing Manager
  • Support North American Internet marketing programming
  • Negotiate contracts and supplier marketing
  • Innovate creative ways to stimulate sales and audience growth
  • Continuous commitment to research and development
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and trends
  • Develop and deliver member training on a variety of web marketing topics
  • Work with other departments to develop effective multi-channel campaigns and platforms
  • Assist the business development team with web-related member inquiries

Program Administration

  • Provide customer service to internet marketing participants
  • Manage communication with supplier and member participants
  • Manage supplier & agency invoicing
  • Measure, analyze and interpret program analytics to optimize marketing and grow audiences
  • Train internal staff on using content management tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communication or interactive media
  • 3-5 years internet marketing experience with focus on email, web, social media & mobile
  • Strong preference for individuals with experience in the travel industry
  • Strong preference for individuals who can speak French
  • Thorough understanding of web technologies, content management, databases and industry best practices
  • Extremely organized, articulate, detail-oriented & works independently or as a team
  • Very experienced with Microsoft Office suite
  • Agency experience is a plus
