Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Director of Internet Marketing you will be responsible to continue to develop and maintain current and future internet marketing initiatives that are used to provide external online media.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Prepare website content from existing content (like our books, ebooks, articles, etc.) and develop for online audience
- Create unique blog content
- Manage social media assets (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube.com, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Implement SEO strategies to help reach marketing goals
- Create weekly reports for key stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve the current search engine rankings and traffic
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends by regularly reading articles from industry leading websites and increasing The Factors Group “share of voice”
- Liaise with link development providers to develop inbound links for clients’ websites
- Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates using Google Analytics
- Provide technical SEO expertise to all online actions
- Contribute to online strategy and solutions to new online business efforts
- Proactively introduce new ideas for marketing initiatives
- Develop online outreach strategy
- Work with Director to identify the most appropriate social media strategy
- Establish relationship with key bloggers and social media Influencers
- Monitor our social networks for potential threats and capitalize on opportunities
- Leverage social networks to build affinity with either a company, product or issue position
- Leverage video sharing sites like YouTube to advance our message or brand
- Conduct online research to identify Web sites and online influencers for outreach
- Conduct one-to-one outreach to site editors, writers, and other influencers
- Develop and manage online strategic partnerships for client projects
- Concept and manage paid placement opportunities, including sponsorships and search engine and banner advertising (organic search engine marketing)
Requirements:
Technical
- 2 years of experience in Internet Marketing
- Extensive knowledge in SEO, Social Media and E-commerce
- Understanding of Google Analytics
- Proven track record of driving traffic and increasing rankings
- Great communication skills to respond to customers inquiries
- Strong grammar, writing, and communication skills
- A working knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems)
- Basic HTML and web design knowledge is an asset
- Relevant work experience or education an asset
