Intermediate Interactive Designer Full-Time

Job Summary
Located at our Head Office in Toronto, this position reports to the Senior Multimedia Designer. The Intermediate Interactive Designer designs visual components for the Web and software applications. Other duties include evaluating designs based on usability and influence, creating prototypes of customized web applications, and serving as the liaison between design and development teams. Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with Developers to create and manage graphic assets for use in production process
  • Support sales team with graphics for presentations and pitches
  • Maintain file repository
  • Formatting and maintaining content for corporate website
  • Regularly perform backups of WordPress database


  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
  • Strong production skills
  • Strong conceptual/prototyping skills
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of PHP an asset
  • Can interface with Developers
  • Willing to learn new skills as required
  • Can handle multiple projects simultaneously


  • Min 3 year diploma or equivalent in design
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Proven ability to work within design and architecture guidelines
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience designing mobile device interfaces would be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
