Front End Engineer Full-Time

Location: Vancouver, BC
Company Name: Bench ()
Category: SEO/SEM, Web Design / Development

We're a laid back group of people working hard on a tough problem. Bookkeeping is a universal pain point for passionate entrepreneurs trying to pursue their dreams. They want to run their businesses, not do accounting, so we make that disappear. While the appeal of bookkeeping may seem lacking, we genuinely believe that solving fundamental business problems is super sexy. And so are you.

This job isn’t just about cranking out landing pages, it’s about crafting the best user experience possible–from the moment people first hear about Bench to the day they tell their friends about us. From our website to our user onboarding process, our copy, and our design, Bench is often complimented for doing things in a unique - dare we say, better - way. We’re not just looking for someone to take our designs and build them. We’re looking for someone who genuinely shares our passion for advancing the way things are done, someone who's excited to bring ideas to the table that help us become the absolute best at everything we do.

When you throw in with us you're not only joining a company that’s changing the way business is done, you're joining at an inflection point. Bench is post Series A, capitalized by a team of Silicon Valley and New York investors, and scaling fast. This is an extraordinary leg of our journey and becoming instrumental to the team now would pretty much make us best friends forever.
