Stocksy’s looking for a front end developer with a great portfolio, who can talk confidently about their role in a project and who’s honed the ability to collaborate in a team setting.

Our ideal candidate is a self-driven, senior front end developer with extensive experience bringing mock-ups and prototypes to life. We’re looking for a critical thinker, who has superior attention to detail, and who is passionate about creating intuitive interfaces that are beautiful and unique.

About the Position:

Experience:

• 5+ years of UI/UX experience shipping products

• 5+ years experience working in a product environment building engaging front-end interfaces with a focus on code correctness, semantics, modular architecture using best practice

• Experience with git-flow, agile development and/or working with distributed teams

• Experience building responsive interfaces within a production environment

• Experience collaborating with designers

Skills:

• Ability to problem solve, work through blockers and think independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Expert knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, LESS/SASS and Bootstrap

• Familiarity with JavaScript

• Expert knowledge of WordPress and other CMS systems

• Working knowledge of MVC frameworks

• Strong familiarity working with Sketch and Photoshop

• Strong understanding of UI/UX and responsive designs

• Pixel perfect translation of mockups to code with a high level of attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Taking mockups and prototypes and generating required assets (images, fonts, colours, etc.)

• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX design

• Collaborating with the Stocksy marketing team to produce visually appealing and intuitive interfaces

• Working with Business Development,QA and CSR teams to refine the user experience

• Crunching CSS, JavaScript and other code like a boss
