We are currently looking for a creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated FIELD MARKETING SPECIALIST to join our dynamic team.  This position will be based out of our Vancouver (BC) office, and will report to the Senior Manager, Field Marketing.

The key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with our Partner Marketing Managers (PMMs), who are responsible for defining the collateral and program needs of our Channel Partners
  • Write, review and edit copy to ensure all content is on-message and the Absolute brand is properly represented – this includes print and online advertising, website content, promotions, partner newsletter submissions, RFPs, etc
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for partner events, sponsorships, sales trainings sessions and arrange for equipment, supplies, printing and necessary facilities for these activities
  • Negotiate contracts as needed
  • Communicate needs and timelines effectively to the Creative and Web teams
  • Ensure that deadlines and quality requirements are met
  • Manage Partner Marketing budgets and work with Accounts Payable on invoicing for marketing activities
  • Prepare quarterly reports on activities, budgets
  • Manage content on the partner pages of our corporate website, external Partner Portal, and internal SharePoint site
  • Travel within North America to participate in corporate meetings and partner events (10%)
  • Other duties as required


  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in marketing as a project/account manager (agency or client-side) or in a corporate marketing department (hi-tech preferred)
  • A university degree or diploma in marketing/communications
  • Experience in integrated multi-platform marketing (digital, print, electronic) and project management; in-depth knowledge of production processes
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Must be a detail-oriented and creative, out of the box thinker, problem-solver, idea generator
  • MS Office skills (Microsoft CRM, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook) & familiarity using CMS
  • Attention to detail is a must along with superior organization and prioritization
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills, respect for timelines
  • Excellent communication skills– written and verbal
  • Must be flexible, supportive and a positive team player
  • Occasional overtime work is required
