Executive Director, Reputation and Brand Management

In order to grow within a competitive and rapidly changing domestic and international post-secondary education landscape, Fanshawe must ensure that its internal and external marketing and communications are highly strategic, effective and integrated, and that its brand, reputation and engagement remain vibrant and strong. To achieve its exciting Vision for 2020, Fanshawe College seeks a highly skilled, future-savvy leader as its new Executive Director, Reputation and Brand Management.

Reporting to the VP, Administration and working with a core internal team of marketing and communications professionals, the new Executive Director will provide leadership for new ideas and new uses of technology while leveraging a pre-existing and powerful external network of contacts from both the public and private sector. He/she will also provide leadership to achieve effective and cohesive strategic master brand management and engagement while meeting the growing demand for skilled internal and external corporate communications, media relations, and community and government relations. The Executive Director will also champion an increased focus on student recruitment and associated activities by leading the transformation to a strategic business partnership model for all internal departments and schools.

Visionary, innovative, responsive, flexible and results-driven, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a relevant Master’s degree, and a proven track record of experience across the broad spectrum of modern communications, marketing and brand management within the public or private sector. As a highly regarded marketing and communications thought leader and advisor, he/she will be highly skilled at building strong client relationships based on trust, mutual respect and a commitment of shared success to launch new products, enter new markets, analyse key market research trends and leverage the power and brand of Fanshawe in the future.
