We are looking for a talented individual to join our team. At Work at Play you are a blend of digital strategist, marketer, and product owner - working with clients to understand their business needs, presenting creative solutions developed through a collaborative process, and following through to product delivery with a highly talented multi-disciplinary team. Our customers consistently rank us 9-10/10 on Net Promoter surveys and you take pride in delivering to that standard.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll drive the development and adoption of digital strategies that engage fans and drive business goals. You are highly results focused and possess an excellent understanding of engagement and conversion metrics.  Sure, you’re analytical, but creativity and ideation are key to this role. You are skilled at facilitating brainstorming workshops, and have a broad toolkit for eliciting ideas from interdisciplinary teams.

Strategy, Analysis and Execution

  • Draws upon an excellent understanding of digital trends and their impact on fan engagement - has experience and tools to increase retention and customer lifetime value.  Has solid understanding of standard digital marketing practices such as funnel optimization, SEO and SEM
  • Able to develop strategies and executable plans that are aligned with the client’s business objectives while supporting a user-centric perspective. Can offer multiple options and communicate the relative trade-offs
  • Able to develop a deep understanding of client markets and fan engagement challenges and offer valuable insights to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Can guide a time restricted, multi-disciplinary effort  with a team to create a strawman digital strategy for a client
  • Can translate strategic objectives into product concepts
  • Able to pitch creative solutions for new business opportunities with a leadership team
  • Embraces constraints and delivers high-value, pragmatic strategies and works with the team to get demonstrable results for the client
  • Highly experienced at identifying and defining performance metrics and monitoring an initiative’s performance against KPIs

Client Relationships

  • Able to persuade and influence clients and gain support for proposed digital opportunities
  • Skilled at simplifying complex ideas and presenting them in a way that tells an insightful story
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate ideas with clarity and energy


  • Superior knowledge of digital channels and attendant engagement models: search, mobile, social, email, SEM, SEO etc.
  • Familiarity with entertainment industries (e.g., gaming, television, film, sports, etc.) and related marketing challenges and opportunities is beneficial but not required


  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to see proposed strategies through to their successful execution
  • Contributes to agency knowledge base by researching industry trends, documenting best practices, and sharing insights with staff in the areas of digital marketing, fan engagement, digital business models, and performance metrics


  • Skilled at leading and participating in ideation sessions with clients and internal teams
  • Able to build upon the ideas of others


  • Is a strong advocate for collaboration and interdisciplinary problem-solving
  • Able to facilitate creative sessions, generate ideas in collaboration, and lead group decisions
  • Able to synthesize and communicate the outcomes of collaborative sessions with team and clients
  • Works to foster a healthy and productive working relationship with clients and team members
  • Can manage conflict with tact and confidence
  • Brings positive, solutions-focused thinking to difficult problems
  • Highly committed to excellence; constantly looks for ways to raise the bar in order to achieve excellence in all areas
