E-commerce Specialist full-time

A new exciting and challenging position has just been developed at Source Office Furnishings. We are currently seeking a full-time E-commerce Specialist based out of our Burnaby office. We are looking for a driving force to support our online growth; the successful candidate will own and execute ecommerce initiatives including but not limited to the optimization of the site, ensuring the website is running smoothly, increasing conversions, and developing new site functionality to improve the customer experience. A member of the Marketing Team, you will specialize in managing and executing strategies to ensure product lines are supported, promotions are capitalized on, and new launches are successful.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the Marketing Team to enhance online customer experience on the Source website
Oversee and liaise with the web development agency on the development and maintenance of the Source website
Develop and execute E-commerce strategy with the goal of increasing user acquisition and revenue realization.
Ensure product data is accurate and up to date.
Review data and recommend tactics to grow new user purchases, retention/loyalty, conversion, and average basket size.
Track, record and report performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis. Develop actionable insights beyond a static dashboard and advise on future needs for website development.
Continually analyze, execute, and provide improvements to the customer experience as it relates to navigation, product pages and checkout experience.
Have a strong understanding and comprehension of competitor landscapes and competitor site capabilities (navigation and filtering offerings from industry leaders).
