Drupal Developer is needed by an international education group based in Downtown Vancouver. The project we are hiring for involves the creation of a highly customized, responsive Drupal site. The successful candidate would lead the planning, implementation and testing of the site as well as sharing ‘Drupal’ expertise with a small team of developers. This fulltime contract position is for 3 months initially but could extend beyond this. You are required to be onsite for this contract.

Requirements:
- 3+ years web application development experience
- 3+ years PHP experience
- 3+ years Drupal experience (including creating custom modules and themes)
- Experience creating Drupal modules to deliver custom solutions that are not achievable by utilizing existing community contributed modules
- Knowledge of mobile theme implementations and responsive design
- Understanding of agile methodologies & principles
- Proficiency with Drupal's Coding Standards, approaches and common API's.
- Experience with MySQL (queries, bulk data import/export, etc.).
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript Libraries (JQuery), Experience with modern web standards required (semantic markup, HTML5, Bootstrap 3, mobile web/responsive)
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Have a strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with WordPress an asset
- Proficiency in Linux administration and Apache configuration an asset
