We’re looking for someone to run our content engine here at Predictable Revenue.  Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to double the amount of traffic, email list subscribers, and web leads within a year.

  • Email list: 20k ⇒ 40k subscribers
  • Traffic: 10k ⇒ 20k monthly users
  • Leads: 80 ⇒ 160 per month

How?  We have some ideas and are open to ideas.  Here are a few things we’re doing now that you’ll take over:

  • Monthly educational webinar - hosted by Aaron Ross, you’ll be responsible for determining topics, getting 200 guests to show up, and managing any content takeaways.
  • Monthly partner webinar - you’ll be responsible for connecting with and booking one of these every month with industry leaders that also have a big list.
  • Reach out to publications, blogs and podcasts to get our two co-founders guest posting
  • Facilitating the content production (we have a writer, editor & video production person) for all our Ultimate Guides, Guest Posts, Podcast, Youtube videos, eBooks, etc…

You’ll report to the CEO, work from our loft (with rooftop patio) in gastown, and drink good coffee (optional).  We have a remote work culture but most of us work from the office.  We’re also a results only work environment, which means we don’t keep track of hours/holidays/sick days etc… all we ask is for you to get your job done.  We pay people for the results they drive for our business, not the time they spend warming a chair.

Predictable Revenue (the book) was born out of Salesforce.com’s early growth, Aaron documented some of the great things they did to help them grow so quickly.  Meanwhile, in Vancouver, Preston and Collin’s early successes came from helping companies implement the strategies from Aaron’s book to help smaller companies grow like Salesforce.  We ended up merging our companies because we shared the belief that outbound sales should be a strategy accessible to all businesses, not just venture backed ones.

So many amazing companies fail because they lack the knowledge of how to reach more customers, this puts a hard limit on their lifetime growth potential.  This limit only serves to widen the gap between large faceless companies and small founder led companies.  Our mission is to close the gap by learning from the largest companies and disseminating their best practices to everyone.
