Being a Vancouver based start-up, our modern and scenic office is located in downtown’s historic Marine Building. The interview process for this position will be entirely remote, with the expectation that the successful candidate will begin remote and eventually transition to working out of the Vancouver office once normal operations resume.
FISPAN is looking for a paternity leave replacement for a period of 12 months (with the potential to extend to a full time role) starting fall 2021 for the position of Director of Marketing. This position is based in Vancouver BC and reports to the head of product and strategy. This role is responsible for managing the marketing department including a team of 4 (Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Graphic Designer Co-Op) plus various external contractors (web developer, PPC specialist, podcast producer, etc.).
- Strategy and planning
- Execution of all marketing and demand generation programs
- Quarterly reporting (setting KPIs and delivering and measuring results)
- Shareholder comms/ corporate communications
- Public relations- media articles, press releases
- Manage and run website (Wordpress)
- Content marketing
- Marketing automation- Hubspot
- Design and execute lead nurture email campaigns
- Design and execute digital events such as webinars and speaking panels
- In person event planning (conferences, logistics, booth material)
- Sponsored content
- Product marketing
- Analyst relations
- 7+ years of experience in a marketing role
- B2B marketing experience required
- Degree in marketing or communications
- Experience managing a team of 2 or more people
- Fintech or finance industry experience is a plus!
