The Director of Marketing and Communications is a brand expert. They are responsible for leading and implementing a new brand identity and experience to inspire an emotional connection to United Way. The position is responsible for successfully marketing United Way on a year-round basis and profiling new brand experience activities.
The Director plans and leads the implementation and evaluation of strategies for the organization's marketing initiatives. The Director is also responsible for overseeing specific marketing channels, advertising activities, and digital strategies.
The Director is both a marketing and communications leader and a brand champion inside and outside the organization. The Director is a problem solver, and strives to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders. The Director will participate as an integral member of the management team.
