Summary of Job
Seeking a detail-oriented, proven Direct Marketing Production Manager to oversee all aspects of print production, including digital print, as well as data / laser / lettershop.  Must be able to work independently and handle multiple projects working as part of a dedicated, experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Account Management and Creative teams to develop final specifications for DM projects, ensuring that project is within budget and timing.
• Coordinates all estimating and purchasing activity with suppliers with respect to printing, data processing, laser, lettershop services, finishing and distribution activity.
• Develops final production budgets, ensuring that competitive pricing is considered, and appropriate supplier base for specific clients is used
• Is responsible to ensure that overall production is completed at a high quality level, on time and on budget.
• Must keep the account group informed at all times on the status of ongoing projects

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in all areas of print production and data / laser / lettershop
• Worked as a Production manager within an agency environment and/or supplier side for a minimum of 3 to 5 years
• Clear, effective communication skills
• Proven, pro-active problem-solving abilities
• Internet production experience an asset
