Digital Marketing Specialist Full-Time

We are looking for a Digital/Online Marketing specialist to join our growing marketing team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about all facets of digital and data driven marketing and has a vocabulary chock full of 3 letter acronyms to back it up; CAC, CPM, CPC, CTR. Is a master of online communications, a team player, has worked for or has a desire to work for an online retailer, and loves food, especially when it’s local and organic!

We work with local farmers and vendors in each of our six locations to ensure the freshest and highest quality food is available for our customers; we offer everything that you would expect to find from a traditional brick and mortar grocery store. Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree/diploma in related field or equivalent work experience in a marketing role
  • 2+ years experience working in a digital/online marketing role
  • Proven success executing social media marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing multiple social media networks, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, using Hootsuite or other
  • Expertise managing blogs, writers, and editorial calendars
  • Familiar with Wordpress or a similar content management platforms
  • Strong understanding of inbound/content marketing
  • Proven results developing and writing content for the web
  • In-depth knowledge of PPC and SEO
  • Experience using Google AdWords platform (AdWords certification is an asset)
  • Proficient at reporting and analyzing data using Google Analytics
  • Experience working in marketing for a grocer, or online retailer is a strong asset

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple social media networks
  • Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns
  • Manage the blog and editorial calendar
  • Create content for blog, email, and website following SEO best practises
  • Build, support and maintain relationships with online influencers, media and partners
  • Increase traditional and online media coverage
  • Look for online advertising opportunities
  • Build and optimize PPC campaigns using Google AdWords and other
  • Report weekly, monthly and quarterly on key metrics
