Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, this role supports the Employee Support Solutions (ESS) Marketing and Communications Team with the management of our client-facing, high-traffic digital assets.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be creative, analytical and technical with strong communication and relationship building skills and committed to building effective digital campaigns that engage our clients. The role will rely on a strong self-starter attitude, organizational skills, attention to detail, focus on quality, and customer service excellence.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of digital assets (websites, mobile applications, email campaigns, etc.) including content implementation in CMS, testing and trouble-shooting, performance reporting and analysis, etc.
  • Oversee and support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including: contact segmentation, A/B testing, testing, reporting and analysis, etc.
  • Utilizing strong knowledge of User Experience principles to suggest, plan and coordinate with IT team on improving customers experience within our digital assets (e.g. visual design, content, accessibility, responsive design, functionality, navigation).
  • Assist with development, debugging and maintenance of our existing and upcoming digital assets.
  • Creating and maintaining site analytics (via Google Analytics), metrics, and campaign reporting to management.
  • Work with cross-departmental teams on new digital development, release planning, testing, and trouble-shooting.
  • Ability to understand and identify potential issues regarding digital assets

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 2-4 years in a digital asset management role, including email marketing and exposure to a multifaceted corporate environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma; concentration in Marketing or Digital Marketing preferred
  • Advanced competencies in website management: content management systems (CMS); experience working with HTML, Site Finity, Drupal
  • Advanced knowledge with CRM systems
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, yet be comfortable running a project or task independently
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work on strict deadline pressure, and manage multiple projects
  • Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
  • Management experience a desired asset, this role will have one direct report
  • Experience working for organization with global services requiring assets to be produced in various international languages a desired asset
