Digital Marketing Specialist

Based from IndustryBuilt’s headquarters in Mississauga, this position plays a key role in our marketing strategy for IndustryBuilt, and is primarily responsible for our online presence and lead generation. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play a key role in strengthening the online presence of both IndustryBuilt Brands (EquipSoft and JustFoodERP)

  • Play a key role in the selling of large complex software solutions to multi-million dollar corporations.

Job Description

  • Development and execution of the strategy to grow, manage, and optimize digital marketing through channels including Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid search (PPC)

  • Responsible for increasing organic website traffic month over month achieving at least a 30% conversion

  • Develop and execute on social media strategies including but not limited to LinkedIn and Twitter campaigns

  • Responsible for performance reporting and metrics for digital marketing channels, including but not limited to, path to conversion, cost-per-conversion, average position for both organic and paid, click-through-rate, pages-per-visit, etc.

  • Provide analysis and recommendations on all online programs  including website analytics and conversions

  • Landing page creation and optimization enhancing the user experience and increasing conversions

  • Analyze data and reporting to draw recommendations and enhancements to  all online programs

  • Support and execution of marketing campaigns

Required Skills

  • 2-5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
    Strong SEO, SEM and Paid search skills with the desire for continual growth and development

  • Experience working within social media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter

  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and superior time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • A working knowledge of Content Management Systems

  • Ability to meet deadlines and self-manage workload

  • Passion for digital marketing and driving results

  • B2B and/or software sales experience

  • Post Secondary Education; Business or Marketing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high energy and a positive attitude

  • Ability to prioritize projects and thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Nice to have:  Google Adwords Certificate
