Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will be a key partner of cross functional teams and retail channel owners, product merchandisers and external agency partners to take product and content marketing campaigns to market through existing and new digital channels. This key manager will support the development of go to market strategies and tactics working with specialists and agency partners who will execute and optimize. The Digital Marketing Manager will be a subject matter expert in digital and or retail marketing with strong understanding of marketing programs including affiliate, search and media. Day-to-day collaboration with cross functional team members across the business is a critical part of the role as well as the ability to lead a team to execute campaigns with multiple partners and channels.  You’ll have the ability to spot growth opportunities and have a really strong understanding of technologies as well as consumer facing marketing. You'll need to be able to think both tactically & strategically and have excellent communication skills to educate, collaborate and inspire your peers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing via a growing lululemon digital eco-system
  • Development & execution of new and existing digital marketing programs
  • Develop your team, spot growth opportunities and nurture talent
  • Inform product teams on consumer buying behavior to set strategic direction for seasonal product campaigns
  • Leverage data to effectively to report back to your cross functional partners including Product, Brand, Retail
  • Ensure an exceptionally strong working relationship between cross functional teams
  • Liaise regularly with central and regional teams, partners and agency partners to keep up to date with new initiatives and developments both internally and externally
  • Stay connected with digital trends beyond the walls of lululemon, share your knowledge and experience with team members – be their expert

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
  • 3+ years’ experience in online and/or consumer marketing, with global experience
  • 1+ years experience at a manager or director level
  • Experience in direct marketing principles with a global retail brand and excellent business development skills
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence others
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure 
marketing programs
  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of your teams tactical execution
  • Expects innovation from self and partner teams
  • Work to be performed in Vancouver, BC
  • Travel to the US required
