We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our Digital team who will support and grow our online experience. Based out of our Vancouver office (with views of the North Shore mountains and two minutes from the seawall), you will own and execute online initiatives ranging from the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the site to developing innovative cross-channel digital content that elevates the brand on screen.

This role will report to the eCommerce Manager and will work closely with the Marketing, Retail, Product, Distribution and Supply Chain to build and support strategy, content and promotional initiatives across saje.com

Responsibilities:

Drive sales, digital innovation, content & customer experience through:

  • Steady State Content Management & Promotional Launches
    • Support eCommerce Manager in owning all content, creative and the product catalogue on saje.com to ensure the front-end is up to date at all times
    • Coordinate and track weekly and monthly Saje promotions and offers for online
    • Request artwork and execute promotions from start-to-finish on saje.com
    • Analyze data from promotions including traffic, conversions, product take-up and highlight bright and dim spots while identifying growth opportunities
  • Special Projects & Launches
    • Implement from start-to-finish inspiring digital campaigns that support omni-channel experiences through:
      • Seasonal promotions & campaigns
      • New Product launches
      • Special Events (new store openings, seminars, partnerships)
      • Sales Events (black Friday, cyber Monday, boxing sale)
  • Merchandising & Product Catalogue Management
    • Own the Saje.com Product Catalogue and ensure it is up to date at all times
    • Manage the merchandising of all Saje products online – including sorting, navigation, categorization, filters, and search
    • Optimize online inventory to align with sales, seasonaility, and chain-wide inventory
    • Coordinate product photo-shoots to generate white background and lifestyle photography
    • Ensure Product Description (PDP) pages are optimized for SEO
  • Content + Commerce
    • Manage the content-rich areas of the site including blog, media room, and Saje story
  • Reporting
    • Provide monthly and analytics dashboards to key team members
    • Support eCommerce Manager in identifying meaningful trends generated from reports with recommendations on how to action
  • Maintenance & Admin
    • Be the first point of contact for bugs and fix requested by cross functional teams:
      • Manage & liaise with internal & external developers to issue tickets for bugs and fixes
      • Proof, monitor, and debugging website
      • Collaborate with Warehouse to execute annual Inventory Counts, Maintenance Outages etc.
      • Act as main point of QA for fixes
    • Communicate updates and digital initiatives to various departments as required
    • Support eCommerce Manager to establish processes and lead the development of new eCommerce training materials

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years proven experience in eComm digital marketing (client or agency environment)
  • An analytics navigator with Google Analytic or similar digital analytic tool experience
  • A bit of a digital nerd who loves reading and learning from digital blogs and attending meet-ups and industry events
  • Almost only shops online and is passionate about the digital eCommerce space – some might call you a professional online shopper
  • Ok with working outside of 9-5 office hours to support and execute web maintenance, digital campaigns or promotional launches (when required) – the internet doesn’t sleep!
  • Experience with eCommerce merchandising is an asset
  • Proven ability to work with a cross functional team
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Results-oriented and process driven, goal driven
  • Awesome computer skills, especially Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Extremely accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and has an ability to prioritize, plan, organize and multitask
  • Strong project management skills – you can juggle multiple balls, connect the dots and meet timelines and budgets
  • Thrives in a busy, face-paced environment
  • You love problem solving on the fly – what problem?
  • Passionate about Natural Wellness and understands trends in the digital space
  • Experience working with an e-commerce administrative system (Shopify, Magento, Demandware or similar)
  • A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
