Digital Marketing Coordinator Full-Time

Do you have a passion for digital marketing? Great Canadian is looking for our next GREAT colleague to join us as our Coordinator, Digital Marketing. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who lives and breathes the world of digital marketing. This role will work closely in supporting email marketing development, social media, digital marketing support for all of Great Canadian Gaming's BC properties, helping to execute email marketing campaigns, develop a strong social media presence, and assist with the deployment of other digital marketing initiatives.

You can expect to apply your skills and qualifications through the following key accountabilities:

  • Coordinate with the marketing teams to define and execute email and social media programs that meet business objectives
  • Coordinate email campaigns; this includes creating email mockups, deploying campaigns, and building website landing pages when necessary
  • Build and manage segmented email lists
  • Assist in developing social media initiatives that improve community size and engagement
  • Maintain the brand integrity across all social media platforms
  • Prepare email and social media metrics reporting for analysis
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure email and social media programs meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with Great Canadian Properties such as Elements Casino, Hastings Racecourse, River Rock Casino and Resort, View Royal Casino, Casino Nanaimo and our Community Gaming Centers in BC
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Perform other digital marketing tasks as instructed.

Our ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in digital  marketing experience including email marketing and social media
  • Post-secondary degree, ideally in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and PHP, an asset
  • Knowledge of email marketing and social media best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and an apptitude for problem solving combined with a natural interest in understanding service excellence
  • Ability to adapt to new technology
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong customer service skills combined with a natural interest in understanding service excellence
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be able to sucessful obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforemcnet Brance (GPEB)
  • Must be able to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate
  • Strong customer service skills
