About the Opportunity

WatServ is currently seeking a creative, full-time Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team in Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario.

In this dynamic role, you will develop our web content and social media presence to build an inbound marketing funnel that generates leads for the sales team. As a company with a rapid growth strategy, your input and skills will make you an invaluable addition to the WatServ team!

Key duties include:

  • Plan and create engaging content for social media (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts/customers, etc);
  • Co-ordinate the copy-editing, development and publication of digital content;
  • Publish content (WordPress) and interact with audiences via social channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn);
  • Drive web traffic and identify tools and opportunities for growth;
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations with regards to elements or structure of websites/pages;
  • Analyze the overall success of different marketing campaigns and develop plans to optimize them;
  • Other duties, as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will have 2-3 years of relevant experience. This includes strong working knowledge of digital marketing, web maintenance, SEO and Google Analytics.

Specifically, we are seeking someone who is data-driven and has a real passion for social media and emerging technologies. Ideally with a background in online publishing or blogging, previous experience in a B2B marketing or sales role is also advantageous. Graphic design and/or Photoshop skills are also considered an asset.

The ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively under pressure is critical for success in this role. You will need superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and the self-motivation to ensure that all projects are executed with a sense or urgency, discipline, decisiveness and focus. As such, the successful candidate must have proven ability to meet or exceed targets and deadlines and be capable working with a team or independently.
