Overview
As part of the Digital team at GLENTEL Inc., the Digital Communications Coordinator will report to and work closely with the Digital Content Producer. Working with marketing and sales management, the Digital Communications Coordinator, will assist in the development, implementation and overall project management of digital channel communication designed to increase awareness and sales for GLENTEL banners.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Digital Content Producer and Brand Managers to proactively manage web content and ensure it is aligned with the overall brand/organizational objectives and meets current SEO standards for optimization
  • Day-to-day coordination of messaging of social media platforms including Facebook, and Twitter as reflected in the brand campaigns and content calendar with guidance from the Brand Managers and Digital Content Producer
  • As assigned work on digital projects as needed including preparation of images, copy, technical specification and coordination of such for implementation by vendors
  • Collect, organize and archive digital campaign elements
  • Generate reports and analytics on the success of social display, and PPC campaigns
  • Work on SEM and CPC campaigns at the direction of the Digital Content Producer coordinating copy, creative and working with media partners checking implementation of campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with vendors, internal stakeholders and the Marketing team
  • Meets, and exceeds Marketing goals for website traffic and conversion
  • Delivers all digital programs on time, on budget and without error
  • Ensures all digital components are consistent with brand guidelines
  • Responsible for creating PO’s and general accounting needs for digital vendors
  • Other duties, as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years online marketing experience
  • Post- secondary diploma or degree in Marketing or related field (preferably with a digital focus)
  • Basic overall understanding of all aspects of digital marketing including website content optimization, keyword research SEM/SEO, CRM/email, social media, online advertising/promotions, content marketing, and project management
  • Proven experience in playing a supporting role in the planning, execution and analyzing of website, email, social, SEM/SEO initiatives
  • Experience working within a CMS (Content Management System)
  • Experience working and monitoring Google Analytics for website reporting and adwords reporting
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Blog writing experience an asset
  • Strong social media acumen with experience growing fan base
  • Social media community management experience preferred
  • Experience with design programs, such as Photoshop an asset
  • Innovative, self-starter, able to work with limited supervision in a fast paced retail environment
  • Flexible, results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to change direction quickly and adapt to frequent change required
