As a Digital & Social Media Manager, you will join the North America Leisure team for a one-year contract. You will be responsible for developing digital and social media strategies that support the overall business objectives for North America Leisure. You will be managing day to day digital, online and social media needs for all of North American leisure travel. You will work collaboratively across the global organization, cross functionally, and with partners, to ensure delivery of an integrated approach and strategy around Leisure products and the global value proposition.

  • Online and Digital Strategy:
  • Develop and execute online and digital strategy to support North America (NORAM) Leisure portfolio with measurable ROI
  • Manage budgets associated with web development and update initiatives
  • Create and facilitate end to end project plans for all initiatives, including key stakeholder meetings, timeliness, budgets through to post analysis
  • Evaluate and execute content requirements across all CWT NORAM Leisure web sites
  • Develop relevant monthly scorecards and analytics and provide recommendations on new initiatives to drive organic and net new sales through online and social channels
  • Represent NORAM Leisure at appropriate internal and industry meetings
  • Work with creative agencies to ensure the CWT brand is appropriately represented
  • Social Media:
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy focused on key channels that drive business with measurable ROI
  • Develop strategic social media calendar drilled down to daily activities
  • Develop and launch social media campaigns for NORAM Leisure
  • Define and develop social media tone and manner style guide
  • Prepare and manage online commentary for all CWT NORAM Leisure social channels
  • Day to day community management of all social channels including posting, listening and analytics
  • Manage budgets associated with social media campaigns
  • Develop social media acquisition and conversion strategies
  • Develop marketing initiatives and promotions that will increase CWT exposure and grow sales through online channels
  • Develop and deliver relevant presentations both internally and externally
  • Prepare monthly reporting for online channels highlighting key success drivers in partnership with commentary and business recommendations to strategically position CWT as a leader in the social space
  • Work in partnership with creative agency to design, build, map and measure all online traffic


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management or Communications, or related field preferred with a minimum of five years marketing experience or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing
  • 2-3 years experience in strategic digital management and social media community management
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of content management tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics and listening tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Photoshop or InDesign
  • Travel industry knowledge an asset
  • Bilingual would be an asset
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate with all levels of the organization; exceptional oral and written communications
  • Strategic leadership with the ability to manage up
  • Organization skills to manage day to day execution of tactics
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and channels to be the CWT NORAM Leisure subject matter expert
