Digital Account Coordinator

Stephen Thomas Ltd (ST) is a full-service marketing, communications and fundraising agency working exclusively with non-profit organizations in Canada and around the world.   In business for more than 30 years, ST executes campaigns in all channels – direct, digital, and mass.  We are located near the Distillery District and Downtown Toronto.

We are currently looking for a Digital Account Coordinator to join our team.  You will have an interest in the non-profit sector and a passion for all things related to digital marketing with technical savvy to back it up.  You will be responsible for executing digital marketing initiatives and campaigns providing unsurpassed service to our clients.

Core responsibilities

  • Execute assigned project management tasks
  • Assist in defining technical requirements of new digital projects
  • Contribute to the technical and creative development process
  • Execute quality assurance and testing of online components including microsites & websites, emails, custom Facebook tabs & apps, etc. and report back to project lead
  • Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of search marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, PPC), Facebook ad campaigns, social media campaigns and online display ad campaigns that meet or exceed marketing targets
  • Co-ordinate technical consultants, including web designers, writers and web developers, providing technical and tactical support to ensure implementation is consistent with the specifications and expectations of project plans and business requirements documents
  • Co-ordinate digital quoting and invoicing process
  • Assist in the preparation of results reports for clients

Education & Experience

  • University or college degree in Marketing or Business
  • 1 to 3 years experience in digital marketing.  Some experience in digital advertising (display and search), microsite development and email marketing is required


  • Can work independently and in a team environment
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Adept at handling multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • HTML programming capability
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Flash and HTML5
  • Familiarity with other open-source Content Management Systems such as WordPress Pro, Joomla & Drupal is an asset
  • Experience in Mobile Marketing is an asset
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
