About the Job

Things that you will be writing content for:

• Brand concept

• Packaging

• Website

• Advertisement/promotion

• Social media

You will be working directly under the design manager, and be very involved in every step of the project. We are a small team which means that we will be hands-on in every aspect. You will attend every client meeting and brainstorming session to help the creative team narrow down the direction as well as executing on the spot content planning, which will then be translated into appealing copywriting that will inspire our designers. You then will work hand-in-hand with the designers to produce various artifacts which encapsulate the vision and values of the clients.

Guided by our senior business consultant, you will be generating engaging industry-specific content on social media, and help to produce/proof read/edit weekly blogs and publications that generate buzz, or share knowledge and insights.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in communications, marketing, creative writing or other relevant area

• 2-3 years relevant work experience – preferably on both agency and client side

• Knowledge of trends and best practices for content production

• Experience working with designers

• Experience in writing for all platforms: web/digital, social, video, print, blogs, ad copy and infographics, and creating content relevant for defined target audiences

• Patience and diplomacy to handle multiple rounds and levels of content review

• Excellent proofreading and editing skills

• Experience in measurable content production and strategy is a plus (SEO/adwords/online campaigns)

• Interest in learning more about medical cannabis, no judgment. Being a cannabis user yourself is a big plus!
