Corporate Marketer contract

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Marketing, the Marketing Representative II fulfils a key role within the Marketing department. Works closely with the Manager, Enterprise Marketing and Corporate Communications in the development of identified corporate marketing and communications initiatives and supports the marketing and collateral needs of various products and services that TransLink manages (i.e. TransLink web site, Major Roads Network, AirCare, Coast Mountain Bus Company and SeaBus, SkyTrain, West Coast Express, Albion Ferry, Transportation Demand Management, Handy/DART and the Intelligent Transportation System). Participates in generating all collateral materials, advertising, research, media plans, promotionals activities, and public information materials. Assists in developing innovative and competitive product offerings and assists in developing, implementing and maintaining systems to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Requires completion of a two (2) year marketing diploma from a recognized post secondary institution. Requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in Marketing including experience in project and product development; planning, budgeting and delivering marketing campaigns; writing a variety of documents such as briefs, proposals, news release and advertising copy; dealing with a variety of suppliers; and dealing directly with the public. A further period of up to six (6) months on the job to become familiar with TransLink’s business, target markets, policies, procedures and standards.

A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.
