Our client, a mutual fund company is currently seeking a Marketing/Writing Coordinator. The position will be responsible for writing and reviewing all marketing materials, and supporting the general editorial needs of the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on projects and contributing ideas as part of a team

Requirements

• University Degree English, Journalism or equivalent
• 3 years Financial industry experience (preferably with a mutual fund company)
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills in both English & French
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop and write marketing materials, including fund positioning pieces, fund brochures, event invitations, PowerPoint etc.
• Interview portfolio managers or review conference call transcripts to create Q&A, white papers and commentaries
• Proofread and edit all marketing materials
• Adapt message from print materials for use on our website and third-party websites (i.e. ad copy)
• Support broader needs of the company as it pertains to editorial (i.e., letters, pitch books, speeches, etc.)
