Job Description

We are looking for a content creator to join our growing team. Half of your time will be dedicated to supporting a client's Wordpress site, while the other half you'll support MediaFace as either a: producer, editor, camera operator, designer or office manager.

The ideal candidate will first and foremost shine when it comes to Wordpress support, but is also an asset to our creative team in an additional capacity/role.

You will not be responsible for website development or design, though basic web development experience is an asset.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Upload of content to Wordpress site (video, images, copy, transcripts)

• Organizing and building of projects

• Copy editing content

• Writing project descriptions

• Reviewing project to ensure it’s consistent in layout, style and tone as other projects

• Developing descriptive transcripts

• Media management

Must have skills:

• Experience uploading content to Wordpress

• Attention to detail

• Strong writing

• Strong copy editing

• Ability to organize a large amount of content in a logical manner

• Working knowledge of AODA requirements

• Film/TV/Corporate video production experience

• Problem solving - tech savvy and can troubleshoot on your own

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Assets:

• Web development experience

• French language
